On his rapid rise to the top of the rap game, the norton rapper 2-Tone Montana comes around with the release of "Book of Joshua", his latest mixtape, which will be available for download at the common platforms on 2022-08-23.
We took the chance to do a short interview with him to learn more about the motivation behind doing the record and the creation process of "Book of Joshua".
NuEraMixtapes: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview with us. You said it took you 8 months in total to record "Book of Joshua". What was the motivation behind it?
2-Tone Montana: Man I was going thru a real rough time my baby mama had just got sent to prison a year later my mom passed away my sister moved out so I find myself alone with my 3 kids it was cool at first but then everything started hitting me my brother done me dirty stoled all my money I lost my house ect started doing drugs quit music fast forward to a year ago I overdosed should of died 13 days on a vent what I saw changed me God saved me for a reason inspired me 200 days clean and focused I knew I had to be all I could be for my kids and use my talent to set them up for the best so that's how my mixtape book Of Joshua came to light just telling my story
NuEraMixtapes: You described your release as Real with uplifting lyrics, your rap style is slightly comparable with Lil Wayne's sound. What makes you unique and how do you set yourself apart from other aspiring artists?
2-Tone Montana: My passion for music my work ethic the way I can tell a story to where almost everyone can relate to it and my originality

What obstacles have you faced and overcome in the music industry so far?
2-Tone Montana: My biggest obstacle has been to afford a budget for my music the only way I have overcome this is thru God he always makes a way
NuEraMixtapes: Any shoutouts and credits to the fam?
2-Tone Montana: Yes I wanna shout out my family my fans and all my friends that have supported me in any way my homie Ryan parker the other people's show for always interviewing before show and Travis counts Redwoods Corner for doing an amazing job on my mixes and most of all to God for continuing to bless me and guide me in the right direction and of course my beautiful finance for always believing in me
