Chanelica - Hinata

On her rapid rise to the top of the rap game, the Newport News rapper Chanelica comes around with the release of "Hinata", her latest single, which will be available for download at the common platforms on 2018-10-31.
We took the chance to do a short interview with her to learn more about the motivation behind doing the record and the creation process of "Hinata".
NuEraMixtapes: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview with us. You said it took you 1 day months in total to record "Hinata". What was the motivation behind it?
Chanelica: Hinata is my favorite naruto character. I made this song for my upcoming album & I was inspired because she's a blind girl that can kick ass. That's how I feel in the rap game. It's like everyone is sleep, giving you the speech to be woke, but I'm blind, I'm the underdog, & they don't know what I'm capable of.
NuEraMixtapes: You described your release as Underground Rap with formidable lyrics, your rap style is slightly comparable with Nicki Minaj's sound. What makes you unique and how do you set yourself apart from other aspiring artists?
Chanelica: I just be myself. I don't give any fucks.

I define success as a powerful challenge. It's not a easy journey, at all, but name a challenge that is. It's mostly about the fight you put up. That's what determines if you've won the challenge.

What obstacles have you faced and overcome in the music industry so far?
Chanelica: I started out doing music on "Smule" for free, now my music is on all major music streaming platforms & I'm a verified artist on Spotify. Google me.
