On his rapid rise to the top of the rap game, the Brooklyn rapper KemadaGod comes around with the release of "Emotional", his latest album, which will be available for download at the common platforms on 2019-03-15.

We took the chance to do a short interview with him to learn more about the motivation behind doing the record and the creation process of "Emotional".

NuEraMixtapes: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview with us. You said it took you 5 months in total to record "Emotional". What was the motivation behind it?

KemadaGod: I want people to connect with my song to feel the feelings i have put into them. i want to have a sound where it has soul and people can mesh to it very well. If i can get my craft the exposure it deserves. All i want is my music to be loved and to be known as an artist.

NuEraMixtapes: You described your release as cutthroat with formidable lyrics, your rap style is slightly comparable with Drake, LL Cool J's sound. What makes you unique and how do you set yourself apart from other aspiring artists?

KemadaGod: Well i got to be hungry and prove why i can improve then any other artist. I'm not an artist that will easily give up i will try anything or different approaches to make sure i stay relevant in the conversations.

Success is accomplishing the task that you have set for yourself to do. To have every that you work so hard for and it finally pays off that is the definition of success. Having everything that you done and pushed yourself to the absolute limits til your fully satisfied with yourself.

What obstacles have you faced and overcome in the music industry so far?

KemadaGod: So far dealing with my approach on how to market music and making it as an independent artist. The answer to the question is no not yet i haven't overcome the wall of the music industry but i am studying the game to understand it very well.

NuEraMixtapes: Any shoutouts and credits to the fam?
